Background
The Bureau of Reclamation, specifically the Grand Coulee Power Office (GCPO) located in Grand Coulee, WA, has issued a solicitation for the rental of a Snowplow/Sander Truck. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the Bureau has access to a reliable snow removal vehicle during the winter months, enhancing their operational efficiency and safety.

Work Details
The contract involves the rental of one (1) Snowplow/Sander Truck with the following specifications:
- The truck must be less than 5 years old at the time of award.
- It should have a heated cab, heated mirrors, power windows, and power locks.
- A 75-gallon fuel tank capacity is required.
- The truck must have a diesel engine capable of producing 400-hp and feature an automatic transmission.
- A single axle is preferred, with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) between 30,000-48,000 lbs.
- It should include a 10-foot (5 cubic yard) box and have steer tires with 100% tread and front/rear driver tires with 80% or better tread.
- The truck must be equipped with a 10-foot hydraulically powered angle blade and an orbital sand spreader positioned forward of the drive axle.

Additionally, the contractor is responsible for providing a serviced and 'ready for operation' truck that includes all scheduled maintenance and repair parts unless repairs are due to operator negligence or misuse. The truck must meet all applicable safety requirements and be in good operating condition. Delivery will be made to the Bureau of Reclamation's job site in Grand Coulee, WA.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from December 16, 2024, to April 15, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Bureau of Reclamation-PN-GCPO located at Hwy 155 - Warehouse B - Door 6, Industrial Area, Grand Coulee WA 99133.
