Virginia Class Submarine Rotor Assembly and associated Long Lead Time Material

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has awarded a $4,854,792 contract to Rolls Royce Marine North America, Inc. (RRMNA) of Walpole, MA, 110 Norfolk St, Walpole, MA 02081-1704 to provide manufacture and assembly of one rotor for a Virginia Class Submarine propulsor system to include one complete set of scoop bars and associated material. This contract will run from FY19 to FY24 on a sole source basis. RRMNA is the only qualified source capable of fulfilling the Navy's complex and stringent requirements for manufacturing a VIRGINIA Class propulsor rotor.
