As a result of the Sources Sought Notice for Universal Canister Electronic Units in support of the Vertical Launching System posted on 3 April 2020, this requirement will be solicited as full and open competition.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) anticipates a contract requirement to fabricate, assemble, test, final acceptance and delivery of Vertical Launching System (VLS) Universal Canister Electronic Units (ECEU) for the Air Dominance Department of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) Port Hueneme, California. NSWC PHD is a field activity of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334519 with a Size Standard of 500 employees.

The anticipated performance period will consist of one base quantity and option quantities that can be exercised anytime within five years of award. Option quantities may be exercised in any order. A Firm-Fixed-Price contract is anticipated. It is anticipated that the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or around August 2020. Drawings will be provided to all JCP-registered requestors via AMRDEC SAFE. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
