A brief overview of the requirement and logistical information for the Vendor Collaboration Webinar Event is provided below:

Requirements Overview
The Department intends to award a contract in FY18 to provide web-based data analysis tools for survey studies fielded by NCES. These tools allow users to create tables and graphics representing education data, examine trends over time, analyze data, and generate statistics. These data tools use data from several large and complex data collections including national longitudinal surveys, linked cross-sectional surveys, census data, and administrative record data. Datalab is an evolved iteration of the predecessor requirement Postsecondary Education Data Structure Support (PEDSS). The PEDSS contract was awarded in September 2012 and is set to expire in September 2018. While PEDSS only focused on Postsecondary Education data, Datalab will provide tools for all levels of education.
