Background
The Federal Bureau of Prisons Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make an award for the provision of Dental Assistant, Dental Hygienist, Pharmacy Technician, and Radiologic Technologist services to the inmate population at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC), located in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Work Details
The contractor will provide Dental Assistant, Dental Hygienist, Pharmacy Technician, and Radiologic Technologist services at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The services will be performed on-site in the Health Services Department at MDC Guaynabo in a clinical setting. The schedule is normally Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., except for Federal holidays. The Dental Assistant, Dental Hygienist, Pharmacy Technician, and Radiologic Technician are each expected to work an estimated 1,872 sessions per year.
The facility is expected to require an average of 40 sessions per week.
The schedule shall not exceed forty (40) hours per week.

Period of Performance
The performance period will be for a base year period from the Effective Date of Award (EDOA) through 12 months from the EDOA, with four possible 12-month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Bureau of Prisons.
