Valet Parking Services - Charleston SC   3

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC is seeking valet parking services for its facility. The contractor is required to provide valet parking services for the medical center from Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays, with an expected workload of approximately 250 vehicles per day. The contractor will be responsible for all off-site parking needed for valet services and any shuttle service from the medical center to the off-site parking for contractor staff.

The contract period includes a base year from 5/9/2023 to 5/8/2024, with four option years extending to 5/9/2028.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide valet parking services as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). This includes greeting and offering valet parking to all vehicles entering the valet parking area, promptly parking vehicles within five minutes, ensuring efficient operation during peak hours, providing courteous customer service, furnishing and installing necessary signs and equipment for operations, providing uniforms for all personnel, attending a pre-work orientation meeting after award and prior to commencement of work on site, tracking daily vehicle count and providing monthly self-assessment reports, complying with federal holidays, reporting requirements, confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements, and adhering to contractor personnel security requirements.

The contract period includes a base year from 5/9/2023 to 5/8/2024, with four option years extending to 5/9/2028.

Place of Performance
The valet parking services will be performed at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center located at 109 Bee Street, Charleston SC 29403.
