Background

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide hotel services for eligible patient lodging, including holding rooms until 7:00 PM every evening, providing a courtesy shuttle service to the medical center and airport, offering single or double occupancy rooms, allowing spouses or caretakers to stay at no additional cost, ensuring wheelchair accessibility throughout the facility, and meeting minimum fire safety requirements.
The lodging facility must also provide a daily continental breakfast for the veterans.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from 03/01/2024 to 02/28/2029. The contract is structured as a Five Year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract with a guaranteed minimum fulfillment during the first delivery order placed under the resulting contract.

Place of Performance
The lodging facility must be within eight miles of the Boise VA Medical Center in Boise, Idaho. Additionally, it should offer pick-up and drop-off services to the medical center and airport 7 days a week per veteran request.
