2nd Ambulance Industry Day July 20, 2023 Sessions 1 and 2

A Virtual Industry Day for Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is scheduled for July 20, 2023, comprising two sessions. Session 1 is scheduled from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm eastern. Session 2 is scheduled from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm eastern. The event will be held online using Microsoft Teams and is open to all ambulance service providers, both current VA contract holders and non-contract holders, nationwide. Session 1 will focus on the impact of the changes in rates VA pays for special modes of transportation as provided in Federal Register Volume 88, No. 32 February 16, 2023 and 38 CFR Part 70, RIN 2900-AP89 to ambulance service providers. The VA s final rule on February 16, 2023, to adopt Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) transport rates for ambulances (to include air ambulance) which will apply in the absence of a contract with an effective date of February 16, 2024. Session 2 will focus on the new VetRide software to include a live demonstration of the program. The event will provide ambulance service providers information regarding the changes resulting from the VA s final rule on February 16, 2023; the importance and effect of the final rule; live demonstration of the VetRide computer program; and other pertinent information that industry would value in preparation for these changes. At the conclusion of the sessions, there will be a question-and-answer period for the audience to ask questions of the Government panel. Join the event by following the link below. Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is hosting a virtual industry day for Veterans Health Administration (VHA) on July 20, 2023. The event is open to all ambulance service providers, both current VA contract holders and non-contract holders, nationwide. Work Details
