USS COLUMBUS (SSN 762) Engineered Overhaul

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a solicitation on a sole source basis to Huntington Ingalls Industries, Newport News Shipbuilding (HII-NNS), 4101 Washington Ave., Newport News, VA, 23607 under the authority of FAR 6.302 for the continuation of the completion efforts in support of the Engineered Overhaul (EOH) of the USS COLUMBUS (SSN 762). The proposed contract action includes engineering and design efforts, prefabrication and shipyard execution that supports the repaired
USS COLUMBUS (SSN 762) and delivery of a mission-capable submarine to the Navy. NAVSEA intends to solicit this requirement as a modification to existing Contract N00024-15-C-4301, which was synopsized on 16 October 2014 under reference N00024-15-R-4300. The requirement and deliverable under Contract N00024-15-C-4301 remains unchanged.
