Background
The solicitation is for the USNS WASHINGTON CHAMBERS (T-AKE 11) Mid-Term Availability. The work involves preparing for and accomplishing the voyage repair, overhaul, or alterations of the USNS WASHINGTON CHAMBERS (T-AKE 11) as specified in the Work Item (WI) package provided in Attachment J-1. The work is to be performed at the contractor's shipyard.

Work Details
The work includes various tasks such as preparing for and accomplishing the mid-term availability of the USNS WASHINGTON CHAMBERS (T-AKE 11) as per Attachment J-1. This involves providing necessary management, procurement, production, testing, technical capability and resources, quality assurance services, timely procurement of CFM/CFP, progress measurement systems, engineering support, material availability and control, heavy weather plans, cold weather plans, fire and flooding protection plans, man-hour estimates by department, and more. Additionally, there are optional Category 'B' WIs which may be required to be accomplished as part of this contract.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from JAN 10, 2025 to FEB 28, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract work shall be performed at the contractor’s shipyard.
