Background
The solicitation is for the USNS ROBERT E. PEARY MTA 2024. The work involves the MTA, overhaul, or alterations of the USNS ROBERT E. PEARY(T-AKE 5) as specified in the WI package provided in Attachment J-1 – WI Package (Specifications). All work is to be performed at the contractor’s shipyard.

Work Details
The work includes preparing for and accomplishing the MTA, overhaul, or alterations of the USNS ROBERT E. PEARY(T-AKE 5) as per Attachment J-1. This involves providing necessary management, procurement, production, testing, technical capability and resources, and quality assurance services; using progress measurement systems; developing a performance milestone schedule/critical path chart; applying approved quality control procedures; ensuring configuration control procedures; providing for staging and storing of material; managing all subcontractors’ performance during the availability; employing good judgment and sound engineering practice and principles; and more.

Place of Performance
All work shall be performed at the contractor’s shipyard.
