Usns Cesar Chavez Mooring Lines   15

Background
The Military Sealift Command (MSC) is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items to procure mooring lines for the USNS Cesar Chavez. The goal of this contract is to acquire high-quality mooring equipment that meets specific military standards, ensuring operational readiness and safety during maritime operations.

Work Details
The contract includes the following items:

1. **VETS ROPE ASSEMBLY CG39**
- Part No: 276-6-2-MOORING
- Description: Mooring Rope Assembly 2-1/4 X 1/4 X 200M Long, Four Strand HMPE Mooring Assembly with 1.8M Eyes at Both Ends with Chafe Gear Installed in Eyes.
- Quantity: 12 Each
- Rated Minimum Break Load (MBL): 300,000 lbs.

2. **VETS ROPE ASSEMBLY CG39**
- Part No: 276-6-MOORING
- Description: 57MM X 150M Long Jacketed Four Strand HMWPE having a 300,000 MBS, One End Whipped and 1.8M Eye Spliced, with Nylon Chafing Sleeve in the Other End.
- Quantity: 12 Each

3. **CG99 CHAFE PRO FS – CG99 SIZE E**
- Description: Chafe Pro FS Size E for 8in Circ Rope, Dimensions: 16in x 12ft.
- Quantity: 24 Each

4. **CG39 ROPE ASSEMBLY CG39**
- Description: Super Strong 3 Inch Diameter x 600 Feet Overall Length with 6 Foot Chafe-Pro FS Covered Eyes at Each End.
- Strength: Minimum Break Load of 243,000 lbs.
- Quantity: 6 Each.

Period of Performance
The required delivery date is FOB Destination with an acceptance date of February 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
Delivery and acceptance will occur at BATS Warehouse, M/F: USNS Cesar Chavez/Supply Officer, N40443 MSC BATS Warehouse, located at 9284 Balboa Ave., San Diego, CA 92123.
