USDA Forest Service Fleet - Type 6 Fire Engines

Background
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service is seeking to acquire Type 6 Fire Engine Bodies, Models 643P (platform) and Model 643U (utility), mounted on Government-Furnished chassis, known as Type 6 Fire Engines, per Forest Service Standard Specifications. The proposed equipment will be used in support of Federal Government Wildland Fire activities. The USDA Forest Service National Fleet Equipment Office serves as the Central Ordering Office for National Standard Fire Apparatus and Equipment for Forest Service locations in the Continental United States.

Work Details
The contractor will provide thirty-seven (37) Type 6 Fire Engine Bodies, including operational training and delivery to specific Forest Service locations in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Washington, and Wisconsin.

The Contractor is responsible for the performance of all Inspection requirements and Quality Control.

Period of Performance
The anticipated Delivery Date of the Type 6 Fire Engines will be no later than 3 July 2025.

Place of Performance
The work includes Operational Training and Delivery to specific Forest Service locations in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Washington and Wisconsin.
