USCIS OIT INDUSTRY DAY

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U. S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is hosting an Industry Day in support of the Office of Information Technology (OIT). The following divisions within OIT will participate in this event: Systems Development Division (SDD), Transformation Delivery Division (TDD), Enterprise Infrastructure Division (EID), Chief of Staff (CoS), Applied Technology Division (ATD), and Information Security Division (ISD). The USCIS OIT Industry Day Event is designed to promote a meaningful exchange of information so that industry can gain a greater understanding of OIT's needs and OIT can gain an awareness of industry capabilities. The event will include updates of anticipated requirements followed by respective panel discussions including Q&A's in reference to specific Acquisition Planning Forecast System (http://apfs.dhs.gov/) opportunities, and a reverse industry session. All projected procurements are subject to revision or cancellation. Final decisions on the extent of competition, small business participation, estimated value, or any aspect of the procurement action will not be made until each procurement is initiated. Forecast data is for planning purposes only and is not a commitment by the Government to purchase the described products and services.
Agenda and briefing slides will be provided through FBO at a later date after the event. Drop off boxes for each Division will be provided for vendor information and capability statements.
This event will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017, from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM at The Wilbur J. Cohen (SSA) Federal Building located at 330 Independence Avenue SW, Washington, DC 20201. Parking is not available at the venue. The Cohen Federal Building is located one block from Federal Center Metro station on the Blue/Orange Line.
Space for this event is limited. This event is open to any contractor. However, most of the contracting opportunities discussed during this event will only be available to DHS Strategic Sourcing Vehicle contract holders. Only two (2) representatives from each company will be permitted to attend. Registration will close on June 19, 2017. There will be no registration changes or substitutions allowed after June 19, 2017. Visitors must enter through and be screened at the security station located at the C St. entrance.

Reverse Industry Day: The reverse industry day portion of the USCIS OIT Industry Day is an opportunity for contractors to present their perspectives to the DHS and USCIS personnel attending the event. There is limited time for this session. Registration for the "Reverse Industry Day" portion of this event will be on a first-come, first-served basis as part of the on-site registration process that will take place on June 29, 2017. The first portion of the reverse industry day will cover OIT specific technical topics. Of the vendors in attendance, fourteen (14) will be permitted to sign up for five (5) minute sessions. The second portion will cover contracting specific topics. Of the vendors in attendance up to ten (10) will sign up to sit on a panel to discuss the selected topics below. The topics to be discussed are as follows:
