USCG STA SAN FRANCISCO (45680) FY23 DRYDOCK REPAIR   2

Background
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE issued by the U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Force Logistics Center, Baltimore, MD to identify sources capable of providing services for the FY23 Dry-Dock repair for the USCG STA San Francisco. The notice aims to determine if sources capable of satisfying the agency's requirements exist and if commercial services suitable to meet the agency's needs are available or could be modified to meet the agency's requirements. It also states that competition and set-aside decisions may be based on the results of this market research.

Work Details
The work items include a detailed list of tasks to be completed under the contract, such as general welding, ultrasonic testing, hull plating inspection, fendering system repair and inspection, diesel fuel tank cleaning, mast inspection, generator and jet drive alignment, hydraulic oil cooler renewal, sea strainer renewal, marine chemist services provision, drydock services, temporary services provision, sea trial performance support, and various other maintenance and repair tasks related to the vessel.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for the contract is an estimated sixty-three (63) calendar day period (Subject to change at the discretion of the U.S. Coast Guard Surface Force Logistics Center).

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the contractor’s dry dock facility. The vessel has geographical restrictions to an area within 320 nautical miles of its assigned station due to military operations.
