ID: 72049723R000002 • Type: Special Notice

Description

Dear Interested Parties,

The United States Agency for International Development in Indonesia (USAID/Indonesia) intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a five-year contract for USAID/Indonesia Health Technical Assistance (BANTU II). USAID intends to set-aside this procurement for small business. The solicitation is anticipated to be released in about two weeks and will be made available electronically upon its release to www.sam.gov

The purpose of the Health Technical Assistance Project II (Bantu Dua) is to identify, recruit, hire, administer and support qualified individuals or organizations to provide short or long-term technical assistance as needed and requested by USAID Indonesia's Office of Health. The Bantu Dua project will provide specialized, high-level technical assistance to USAID, USAID-funded programs, the Government of Indonesia (e.g., the Ministry of Health (MOH), National AIDS Commission, Indonesian Commission for Hospital Accreditation, etc.), parastatal organizations, sub-national government (e.g., district health office), non-government organizations (NGOs), civil society organizations (CSOs), academic institutions, and other research institutes as required. Bantu Dua will provide technical assistance in support of the goals and objectives of USAID/Indonesia and the GOI in the context of the 2020-2025 Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) in which USAID and the GOI are partners and co-investors in development.

Bantu Dua will identify a pool of diverse Indonesian, expatriate, and regional health, governance, information technology (IT), management professionals and local organizations who are able provide specialized expertise that may be lacking in the health systems but which are critical to the success of Indonesian public health programs and achievement of the Mission's development objectives related to health.

This activity will primarily support the implementation of USAID/Indonesia's Health program and the accomplishment of its Development Objectives related to health under the CDCS. It will support current and future areas of strategic interest, including USAID's Locally Led Development Strategy, USAID s Climate Strategy, and other directives.

Prospective Offerors are advised that this procurement is subject to internal USAID approvals and the availability of funds. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) and in no way obligates the US Government to issue an RFP and/or award a contract. This notice satisfies the synopsis requirement in FAR 5.2. Questions/requests for information will not be responded to until RFP issuance. Interested parties are advised to periodically monitor the website for updates concerning this procurement.

Sincerely,
/s/
