Amendment 1

This is Amendment No. 01 for Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 72038824R00001 and:

(a) Amends relevant RFP sections that are reflected in the track changes RFP as attached hereby (a clean version of the RFP is also furnished for ease of reference);

(b) Publishes the submitted questions from interested offerors and corresponding responses.

Background
The USAID Feed the Future (FtF) Bangladesh Sustainable Aquaculture Activity aims to strengthen aquaculture market systems by supporting governmental regulatory bodies to improve standards and compliance, facilitating linkages with broader markets, enhancing value-addition of fish products for domestic and international markets, promoting product diversification, and reducing post-harvest loss.
The activity also seeks to increase the consumption and safe handling of nutrient-rich fish products through behavior change campaigns to raise awareness of how fish consumption integrates into a healthy lifestyle.

Work Details
The purpose of this contract is to provide technical assistance and services for the implementation of the USAID Feed the Future (FtF) Bangladesh Sustainable Aquaculture Project. The contract is a cost-plus-fixed fee (CPFF) completion-type, cost reimbursement contract with an estimated total cost not to exceed $24.6 million. The contract includes provisions for indirect costs, payment of fixed fee tied to the achievement of deliverables, multi-year contract cancellation procedures, adaptive management requirements, and compliance with branding strategy and marking plans.
The Contractor is responsible for managing the activity with a mix of long and short-term expatriate and local staff, along with home office support staff and management.
