This requirement is to obtain Advisory and Assistance Service (A&AS) resources necessary to provide assistnace to the US Air Force Academy FOIA Office. Contractor personnel will provide all resources necessary to to assist with the processing of USAFA FOIA Request and reduce the request backlog. The Contractor shall gather and evaluate information and statistical data. Contractor shall track key metrics to include, number of requests received, total number of requests, number of complex request, number of simple requests, total closed requests, and by whom, and the status of pending Privacy Act tasks.

Background
The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) requires Advisory and Assistance Service (A&AS) resources to support the USAFA FOIA Office. The contractor will assist with processing FOIA requests, reducing request backlog, gathering and evaluating information and statistical data, and tracking key FOIA metrics.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all supervision, personnel, equipment, facilities, materials, supplies, tools, transportation, vehicles, and non-personal services necessary to perform FOIA/Privacy Analyst duties. They will assist with processing incoming FOIA requests, making redaction recommendations on responsive records, drafting Initial Denial Authority (IDA) letters, processing appeals, and assisting with backlog reduction plan. The contractor will also provide weekly status reports, monthly FOIA Cross Check reports, monthly status updates to requesters, and FOIA and Privacy training to USAFA FOIA monitors.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is from the date of award until June 27, 2024.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) in Colorado.
