**The due date for quotes has been extended to 31 October 2024 1000 MDT.**

AMENDMENT 1 - Attachments 3 and 4 have been revised. Please see the highlights for all changes in each document. Below is a response to all questions received regarding this solicitation:

  1. Is it possible to obtain any more drawings or images of the cases being sourced? Or possibly find a sample of a past garment bag?

No. The attached specifications are all the drawings that are available. We do not have extras to supply as samples.

2. Please confirm that the Certificate of Compliance to Berry Amendment is for the material (cloth/textile) components only.

The Contracting Officer has determined that the Berry Amendment will apply to all materials and components of the B4 and Garment Bags.

3. Will samples will be required for this project?

Yes, first article samples will be required for the B4 and Garment bag after award. Please refer to FAR 52.209-4 in attachment 3 for details.

4. Is there a professional tech pack for each of these items? Is this something you can provide which details the exact locations each element of the bags?

No, a professional tech pack is not available for either of the bags. The attached specifications are all that will be provided.

Background
The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of Cadet B4 and Garment Bags as part of their mission to support cadet training and operations.

The goal of this contract is to establish a firm fixed price requirements indefinite delivery contract (IDC) for the manufacturing and delivery of these bags, ensuring they meet specific quality and compliance standards.

Work Details
The contract includes the following items:

1. **Cadet B-4 Bags**
- Quantity: 1,100 Each
- National Stock Number: 8460L9031827000
- Product Service Code: 8460
- Pricing Arrangement: Firm Fixed Price
- Specifications: Manufactured in accordance with Atch 1_PD 211-240404-B4, dated 4 April 2024.

2. **Cadet Garment Bags**
- Quantity: 1,100 Each
- National Stock Number: 8460L9031837000
- Product Service Code: 8460
- Pricing Arrangement: Firm Fixed Price
- Specifications: Manufactured in accordance with Atch 2_PD 210-240404-Garment, dated 4 April 2024.

3. **First Article Samples**
- Cadet B-4 Bags: Quantity: 1 Each (for Government Testing)
- Cadet Garment Bags: Quantity: 1 Each (for Government Testing)

All items are subject to inspection and acceptance at the USAFA location.

The contractor must ensure that all materials comply with the Berry Amendment requirements.
