Upgrade the current Videk DocuVision 8600 Track an

Background
The Social Security Administration (SSA) Print Mail Facility (PMF) is responsible for printing approximately 23 million Social Security Number (SSN) Cards annually. The PMF operates two print sites, one in Baltimore, MD, and another in Durham, NC, with 60% of the SSN Cards printed in Baltimore and 40% in Durham. The SSA anticipates a 10% annual increase in workload due to public demand. The goal of this contract is to upgrade the current Videk DocuVision 8600 Track and Trace System to address end-of-life components and software, ensuring continued exemplary print quality and document integrity assurance.

Work Details
The contractor is required to deliver and install the following under the contract:

1. **Videk DocuVision End of Life Inspection and Data Integrity System Upgrade** at the PMF in Baltimore.

2. **Components to be provided include:**
- New 15.3 Software Platform with a modern user interface and touchscreen monitor.
- Updated operating system with latest security patches to ensure data security.
- Enhanced database and reporting capabilities for additional end-of-job quality data.
- Integration with BlueCrest using Embedded Recon Manager & ADF Bridge for improved reporting capabilities.
- New DocuVision Alma Linux Controller with advanced diagnostic capabilities for increased uptime.
- Upgraded 4K Line Scan Camera & Lens to replace outdated hardware.

3. **Premium Spare Parts Kits** will be provided for critical components that are limited or nonexistent on-site, ensuring continuous support for data integrity systems.

4. **Integrated Software Security Management Agreement (ISSMA)** will be included to enhance security measures around personal information associated with SSN Card printing, including ongoing application support and monitoring for vulnerabilities.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall deliver and install the systems no later than 120 days after award or as negotiated with the Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officer Representative (COR), and SSA PMF representatives.

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance will be at the Social Security Administration Print Mail Facility located at 6201 Security Blvd, Baltimore, MD 21235-2000.
