Universal Cellular Distributed Antenna System

Background
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) at Ft Sam Houston, TX intends to issue a sole source award to Inflexion Management Science for the Universal Cellular Distributed Antenna System (UDAS) including a base year and four option years. Inflexion is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the original installer of the existing UDAS equipment installed at NMC Portsmouth. The system is proprietary to Inflexion and third party installation or maintenance services would void the DHA’s warranty.

Work Details
Provide the UDAS hardware, software, maintenance, technical knowledge, maintenance support, and other related resources that are needed. Provide engineering plans prior to system installation. Replace all equipment with minimal downtime to the signal broadcasts. Work with cellular carriers to ensure signals for AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon are fully operational in the buildings. Provide coordination for any support or services required from cellular carriers within the facilities. Ensure cellular frequencies are fully operational in the buildings.
Test and report findings of each installed cable and antenna, final signals on all floors for all cellular carriers.

Period of Performance
The contract will include a base year and four option years.
