Ulaanbaatar NEC SMDP Utilities

Background
This Sources Sought notice is issued by the Global Acquisition (A/GA) for the Ulaanbaatar NEC SMDP Utilities project. The purpose of this notice is to gather information for planning purposes regarding potential future construction contracts related to utility installations in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

The project aims to support the infrastructure needs of both the Embassy and the International School of Ulaanbaatar.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for several key construction tasks:

1. **Sanitary Sewer**: Construct approximately 250 meters of sanitary sewer, starting from a terminal manhole at the northwest corner of the property, crossing Japan Town Street, and connecting to the existing municipal sewer. The line must meet frost depth requirements and accommodate demand from both the Embassy and school.

2. **Potable Water and Heated Water (Steam)**: Construct approximately 275 meters of potable water and heated water lines in a combined trench, starting from a connection at Olympic Avenue and extending to serve both the school and embassy.

3. **Storm Sewer**: Construct approximately 625 meters of storm sewer including a lift station, beginning at Japan Town Street and connecting to the municipal storm system with projected depths ranging from 2 to 4 meters.

4. **Electrical Power Trenching**: Develop design drawings and specifications for approximately 3.5 kilometers of electrical conduit, with two proposed feeders sharing a route from the site across Olympic Boulevard, splitting into northern and southern routes towards substations.
