Background
This solicitation is for the acquisition of Berla-brand iVe toolkits, licenses, and training support services by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Operations Support (OS), Laboratories and Scientific Services (LSS). The digital forensic capabilities within the LSS have grown significantly to address CBP’s increasing need for digital forensic analysis, training, and technical reach back. The resultant contract will be a single-award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) with a 5-year period of performance.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide Berla license renewals and new equipment equivalent to existing CBP inventory to satisfy CBP’s digital forensic mission needs. This includes providing license renewals with unique identifiers, software updates, new cables/adaptors, and software/equipment maintenance; supplying Berla iVe Vehicle Forensic Kits with specialized cables, devices interface boards, power sources, and a minimum 12-month license; and conducting a five-day in-person course on vehicle system forensics. Deliveries shall be Free On Board (FOB) Destination within 30 days after receipt of Delivery Order or as specified in the Delivery Order.
