A0001: Amendment to Solicitation to provide Answers to the Questions that were asked.

Sector Maryland-NCR requires rust removal on outdoor magazines near the waterfront in gated the Grove section of the Coast Guard Yard. The service requires a supply of water and electricity, as well as environmental containment of debris and removal of the rust and previous paint. Steel magazine enclosure roughly measures 50x10x12.

Refurbishment of the outdoor magazines by removing rust will increase the longevity of the structure, allowing Sector Maryland-NCR to continue to assist the ordnance needs of visiting cutters for the Coast Guard Yard.

SITE VISIT:

All bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site to field verify any/all quantities before submitting bids. Questions. All questions regarding this solicitation must be received by Tuesday, September 10th, 2024 at 12:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). Questions received after this time and date may or may not be addressed by USCG.

Questions will only be accepted in email format. Questions received in any other format will be disregarded. Emails should be addressed to the Contract Specialist, SK2 Allyson Breeden, at Allyson.C.Breeden@uscg.mil and to the Contracting Officer, SKC Samuel Salerno, at Samuel.T.Salerno@uscg.mil.

Quote Submissions. The deadline for quotes submission is Monday, September 16thth, 2024 at 12:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). Any quote received after the aforementioned date and time risks immediate rejection by the Contracting Officer.

Quotes will only be accepted by email; any quote received by USCG that is not emailed will not be considered for award. All quote emails shall be addressed to the joint attention of Contract Specialist, SK2 Allyson Breeden, at Allyson.C.Breeden@uscg.mil and to the Contracting Officer, SKC Samuel Salerno, at Samuel.T.Salerno@uscg.mil.

The email must have the offeror's name in the subject line and have attachments formatted as noted below:
