Description

To enable Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) organizations with a work environment that minimizes the environmental footprint that houses all employees in quality facilities. The AMCOM G-3 serves as the primary staff action office supporting synchronization and coordination of all AMCOM directed missions and support requirements.

Background
The U.S. Army Aviation and Missiles Command (AMCOM) G-3 is responsible for enabling AMCOM organizations to operate in a work environment that minimizes environmental impact while providing quality facilities for all employees.

The G-3 serves as the primary staff action office for synchronizing and coordinating all AMCOM-directed missions and support requirements.

Work Details
The G-3 mission encompasses several divisions: Futures, Strategy and Concepts Division; Airworthiness and Quality Management Division; Current Operations and Readiness Division; Organizational Inspection Program; and the Corrosion Program.

The focus is on process improvement aimed at decreasing Soldier burden, improving operational availability, reducing logistics footprint, enhancing safety, decreasing life cycle costs, and enabling expeditionary aviation forces.

The extension of the task order will ensure continued technical expertise in areas such as Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Prognostic/Predictive Maintenance (PPMx), Sustainment Analysis Program/Project Management, Policy, Automation Systems, Army Working Capital Fund (AWCF) Investment, corrosion control, care of supplies in storage (COSIS), corrosion coatings, Nondestructive testing, Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM), Item Unique Identification (IUID), The Army Maintenance Management System – Aviation (TAMMS-A), and Maintenance Consolidated Database System (MCDS).

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance will be extended by six months from September 24, 2024 to March 23, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
