Type C Architect-Engineer Services during Construction Repairs on Hangar 25 at the Montana Air National Guard

Background
The Montana Air National Guard located in Great Falls, MT, requires a construction project to Repair Maintenance Hangar Building 25. This contracts provides Architect-Engineer (A-E) Type “C” services for construction contract administration for the Repair Maintenance Hangar Building 25. A sole source justification was signed using the authority of 41 U.S. Code 1901, as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a Single Source Below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold.

Work Details
This is an Architect-Engineer (A-E) requirement to perform Type C services in support of the construction of the Repair Maintenance Hangar Building 25 at the Montana Air National Guard, Great Falls, MT. The construction contract is scheduled for a September 2023 award date.

The period of performance of this A-E action will mirror the construction contract award of 180 calendar days after issuance of the notice to proceed. Type C services include documenting and providing answers to Contractor’s requests for information (post award), review of submittals, attendance and records at job progress meetings, review of lab results, preparation of as-built drawings, multiple site visits to inspect the progress and quality of construction to ensure the construction contractor is following the approved design.

The period of performance will be 180 calendar days after issuance of the notice to proceed.
