Description

The 325th Contracting Squadron (325 CONS) intends to issue a sole source bridge contract to ensure the continuation of mission essential Base Operations Support (BOS) services at Tyndall AFB, FL until the current follow-on competitive procurement under solicitation ID FA481922R0014 is awarded. This is a notice of the Government's intent to negotiate and award a sole source firm-fixed price bridge contract to Alutiiq Commercial Enterprises LLC, the incumbent contractor, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. The period of performance for this bridge contract will not exceed a total of 6 months with a period of performance from 14 May 2023 through 13 Nov 2023. The required Base Operations Support (BOS) services at Tyndall AFB are currently being performed by Alutiiq Commercial Enterprises LLC under contract FA481918C6001.

The Tyndall AFB BOS services under this proposed bridge contract require that the contractor shall provide all necessary management personnel, labor, tools, training, and materials as necessary to provide engineering support; infrastructure systems; heavy repair; and facility systems operations and sustainment for all real property and real property installed equipment at Tyndall AFB, FL in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor shall ensure that employees possess all necessary qualifications to perform engineering services and support to analyze, plan and document current and long-term sustainment of Real Property (RP) and Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) in accordance with the PWS.

This notice is published for information purposes only and is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP). All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, to include detailed technical information, demonstrating the company's ability to meet the requirements herein without disruption to the mission essential Base Operations Support (BOS) services at Tyndall AFB, FL. Responses shall be submitted in writing no later than 3 May 2023 at 1PM Central Daylight Time, via email to matthew.lahr.3@us.af.mil and karl.deffert.1@us.af.mil. All responses will be considered by the agency. A determination not to compete the proposed bridge contract requirement based upon responses received rests solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
