Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District is conducting a market survey to identify sources for Siemens Fire Alarm System for the FY-22 Integrated Capabilities Office Main (ICO) facility located at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL. The project consists of a 68,000sf Main building and a 4,800sf Central Utilities Plant (CUP). The purpose of this Sources Sought request is to obtain sources for the Siemens Fire Alarm System to meet the specified requirements.

Work Details
The project requires the provision of a Siemens Fire Alarm System that includes fire alarm-fire detection-mass notification systems (FAFDMN) as required by UFC 3-600-01, UFC 4-010-01, and UFC 4-021-01. The fire alarm-fire detection system shall be provided per NFPA 72 except as modified by UFC 3-600-01. The mass notification system shall be provided as part of a combination FAFDMN per NFPA 72 and UFC 4-021-01, except as modified by USACE ECB 2018-17. Additionally, the system shall interface with the Personnel Alert Warning System (PAWS) utilized for alerting of lightning and other emergencies. If the PA system utilizes the fire alarm/mass notification system speakers, the fire alarm/mass notification and PAWS systems will have priority.
