TRICARE Dental Program (TDP)   5

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) awarded a Requirements Contract (HT9402-16-D-0001) with Fixed Unit Prices to supplement the TRICARE Dental Program (TDP) to United Concordia Companies, Inc. (UCCI), of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on 29 January 2016. This contract was solicited with no set-asides under HT9402-15-R-0001; proposals were due on 20 April 2015. The TDP provides comprehensive dental care services worldwide to eligible TRICARE beneficiaries. The geographic area of coverage for the Continental United States (CONUS) includes the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) includes all other countries, island masses and territorial waters. The TDP Contract also offers support to family members of Uniformed Service active duty personnel, members of the Selected Reserve, Individual Ready Reserve (IRR), and their eligible family members. Performance of this contract will be accomplished at the contractor's facility. The contract base period of performance (transition-in) is 1 February 2016 through 31 January 2017. There are five - one-year option periods continuing through 31 January 2022, a one year phase-out period which follows the last exercised period of performance and the potential for a six month extension pursuant to FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. Total estimated value of the contract, including the base, five - one-year option periods, one year phase-out and the potential six month extension is estimated at $2,931,102,425.
