Tree Removal- Florida Air National Guard

Background
The Florida Air National Guard, specifically the 125 Fighter Wing located in Jacksonville, FL, is issuing this contract for tree removal services. The mission of the agency includes maintaining the health of trees on the installation, ensuring safety, and enhancing base beautification.

This contract aims to address the need for periodic maintenance of trees to promote their health and maintain a clear zone along the base boundary fence line as per UFC 4-022-03.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform the following services: removal of Oak trees, Palm trees, and Fur trees; grinding of associated stumps; and hauling away tree debris and mulch generated by these services.

The work must be conducted between 0700-1600 on weekdays (with alternating Mondays off), excluding recognized US holidays or when the facility is closed due to emergencies or administrative reasons. The contractor must maintain an adequate workforce for uninterrupted performance and ensure stability and continuity in staffing.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract shall be 90 days from the award date.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the 125th Fighter Wing installation in Jacksonville, FL.
