Travis AFB, CA - True North Couples' Retreat - March 2025

Background
The 60th Air Mobility Wing (AMW) at Travis Air Force Base (AFB), CA, is seeking potential sources to provide accommodations for a couples retreat aimed at supporting military service members and their partners.

The goal of the contract is to enrich marital relationships through spiritual resiliency seminars for the 821st CRG, 60th MXG, and 60th MSG. The retreat is scheduled for March 7-9, 2025.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide accommodations for up to around 60 people in approximately 30 suite-style rooms for a duration of 3 days and 2 nights. Services include:
- On-site catering with four meals and two snacks, including vegetarian options and alternatives for food sensitivities.
- Meeting space for group teaching sessions that can accommodate up to 70 people with necessary furniture and space for activities.
- A detailed meal plan including:
- Day 1 Dinner: Minimum of two main entrees, starters, accompaniments, dessert, beverages including water and iced tea.
- Day 2 Breakfast: Minimum of two egg or meat options, pastries, fruit, beverages.
- Day 2 Snack: Assorted cookies and brownies, fresh fruit, granola bars, beverages.
- Day 2 Lunch: Minimum of two main entrees, starters, accompaniments, dessert, beverages.
- Day 3 Breakfast: Similar to Day 2 breakfast requirements.
- Day 3 Snack: Similar to Day 2 snack requirements.
- A contract manager must be designated who will oversee the performance of the work.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from March 7 to March 9, 2025.

Place of Performance
The preferred location for the retreat is in the California Napa Valley area.
