TRAVEL TRAILERS

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; responses are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

The solicitation number is 70FBR419R00000008 is being issued as a request for proposal (RFP) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 15. The incorporated provisions and clauses within this solicitation document are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2005-101), effective October 30, 2018. The NAICS Code and small business size standard for procurement are 441210 and $32.5 million, respectively.

This requirement is be advertised being advertised as a Small Business Local Area Set-aside for vendors residing in or primary doing business in the state of Florida. Offers outside of the state of Florida will not be considered. The award of contracts under this solicitation will be on a trade-off basis, using the procedures prescribed in the attached evaluation factors.

A variety of travel trailer models are being requested under this solicitation. All trailers will need to have sleep capacities ranging from three (3) to eight (8) people. Contractors are required to reference Attachment 04 - Statement of Work for acceptable trailer models. It is anticipated that up to 670 travel trailers could be purchased from this solicitation. However, the Government will make no guarantee the entire amount will be procured, as actual quantities cannot be determined at this time.

Questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted to the contracting officer no later than 5:00 pm EST on November 12, 2018. Responses to questions shall be posted via a solicitation amendment.

An electronic copy of the proposal shall be received no later than 5:00 pm EST on November 14, 2018 to Stewart Knotts, at stewart.knotts@fema.dhs.gov
