Background
The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is seeking information for the Travel Document Personalization System (TDPS) equipment, maintenance, and consumables. This request is for planning purposes and is in support of USCIS market research on travel document personalization equipment for printing and laminating. The anticipated NAICS code for this requirement is 333244 - Printing Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing.

Work Details
The USCIS is seeking information from interested vendors capable of meeting or exceeding tasks related to passport-style book personalization equipment solutions, equipment pricing and purchase/leasing alternatives, experiences with passport-style personalization for other government agencies, and comments on USCIS' preliminary requirements and potential approach to the procurement of book personalization equipment. The vendors are required to address specific questions related to corporate experience providing equipment to personalize travel documents, travel document maintenance support and consumables, annual volume production line travel document operation, production of travel documents to International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards, providing documents in variable text data in optical character recognition font in a machine-readable zone, integrating information technology equipment with USCIS systems, likelihood of successfully meeting the combined requirement of system installation/integration, maintenance, consumables, and production operations, information needed for adequately pricing a proposal.
