Transcription Services

Background
The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania requires transcription services to ensure that court proceedings are recorded verbatim as mandated by 28 U.S.C. § 753.

This contract aims to provide reliable transcription services to support the court's operations and maintain accurate records of legal proceedings.

Work Details
The contractor will provide transcription services including but not limited to: producing transcripts of court proceedings, delivering certified copies to the Clerk of Court, and redacting personal identifiers as required.

The contractor must ensure that transcribers are authorized and comply with the Judicial Conference policies. A minimum of two transcribers must be available at all times, although this does not guarantee a specific level of effort. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary equipment and supplies for transcription.

Transcripts must be delivered in specified formats and within designated timeframes, including options for expedited delivery (e.g., next day or within two hours). The contractor must also adhere to pricing limits established by the court and ensure compliance with the Service Contract Act.

Transcription services will be performed at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, located at 601 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
