Traffic Light Repair Holloman AFB, NM   2

Background
The 49th Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) at Holloman Air Force Base (AFB), NM, is seeking to repair traffic lights as outlined in the Statement of Work. The goal of this contract is to enhance traffic management and safety at a critical intersection on the base by updating outdated traffic control systems.

This solicitation is issued under the combined synopsis/solicitation format for commercial products/services, aiming to procure necessary repairs and installations efficiently.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the following tasks:
1. Repair two traffic lights located at a 4-way intersection by replacing outdated traffic light control systems.
2. Submit a traffic control plan for approval, as intersections may need to be partially blocked off during work; appropriate signs and barricades must be installed.
3. Provide a 10-day notice to the CE Project Inspector prior to starting work to notify base agencies of potential traffic flow impacts.
4. Remove and dispose of existing traffic control cabinets and all wiring connecting these cabinets to signal heads, cameras, and pedestrian buttons, including monitoring cameras and mounting brackets.
5. Install new wiring from new cabinets to signal heads, cameras, and pedestrian buttons while reusing existing conduits where possible.
6. Install two NEMA TS 2 cabinets on existing concrete pads that conform to NEMA Standards Publication TS 2-2021, along with the appropriate traffic signal control systems inside these cabinets.
7. Install one 360° traffic monitoring camera at each intersection.
8. Install an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) system for each cabinet providing at least two hours of backup power.
9. Program the TS-2 traffic control systems according to provided timing sequences, coordinating with the CE Electric Shop during programming.
10. Provide training for CE Electric Shop personnel on operating the TS-2 traffic control system.

Period of Performance
Delivery and/or performance must be completed no later than 180 days after receipt of order.
