TPS 70 and TPS 78 Training and Contract Logistics Support RFI

Background
The United States Air Force (USAF) is seeking sources for Operations & Maintenance training and curriculum for AN/TPS-70 and/or AN/TPS-78 radar systems. The training is to be conducted at a designated site within a foreign nation and must be available in English and/or Spanish. The estimated training sessions are eight weeks long, with approximately 10 students per radar system.

Work Details
The work involves providing in-person classroom instruction, training materials, hands-on practical instruction, testing, and certification of AN/TPS-70 and/or AN/TPS-78 radar systems for basic operational theory and basic maintenance. The contractor is required to have a readily available curriculum for the radar systems and must be able to teach within the required schedule of 8 weeks per system. They also need to provide a detailed schedule of downtime necessary during each 8-week training cycle for hands-on instruction.
Additionally, the contractor should have prior experience in instructing foreign nation military personnel in similar efforts and be able to recommend the number of foreign nation military personnel required to perform daily Operations and Maintenance activities for the radar systems. The contractor should also be able to begin training at the foreign nation’s designated site soon after contract award.
