This requirement is to provide Static Transfer Switches (STS) at any applicable National Airspace Systems (NAS) facilities located throughout the United States and its territories.

The Federal Aviation Administration is currently acquiring Commercial Off-The-Shelf/Non-Developmental Items (COTS/NDI) Static Transfer Switches. This COTS/NDI approach provides the FAA with the most efficient approach to acquire Static Transfer Switches. The STS functions as a selector between two sources of power to critical equipment.

This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the requirements for project management, configuration management, technical support services, test and evaluation, logistics support, training, and quality control for the STS and associated equipment being acquired. The Contractor must provide all necessary equipment; engineering; logistics support; maintenance/operator training; spares provisioning and maintenance program; and provide the documentation to support the acquisition of the STS and associated equipment.

Background
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is acquiring Commercial Off-The-Shelf/Non-Developmental Items (COTS/NDI) Static Transfer Switches (STS) to be utilized at National Airspace Systems (NAS) facilities across the United States and its territories.

The goal of this contract is to efficiently provide STS that serve as selectors between two power sources for critical equipment, ensuring reliability and continuity of operations.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all necessary equipment, engineering, logistics support, maintenance/operator training, spares provisioning, and a maintenance program for the STS and associated equipment.

Specific requirements include:
- Project management
- Configuration management
- Technical support services
- Test and evaluation
- Logistics support
- Training and quality control for STS and associated equipment.

The contract will be structured as an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) task order contract with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Fixed-Price Labor Hour (LH) Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs).

The base period of performance is 24 months with four option periods of 24 months each. The minimum guaranteed quantity during the base period is $5,000, with a maximum dollar value per task order not exceeding $4,000,000.00.

Base Year: 24 months; Option Years: Four additional periods of 24 months each.

Place of Performance
Products will be delivered to various National Airspace Systems facilities located throughout the United States and its territories including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Northern Mariana Islands, Bahamas, American Samoa, Guam, and US Virgin Islands.
