Description

Building 362 is located on the NSWDG north compound. Footprint optimization is required to accommodate user expanded requirements. The objective of this project is to renovate approximately 2200 SF within the 3rd deck of B362. The renovation will include demolition of the offices, demolition of interior walls, enlarging existing offices, new lighting, new Architectural finishes, new telecommunication wiring, Electrical/Mechanical upgrades and Fire Protection/Life Safety. The renovation will expand inside the existing Controlled Area perimeter.

Background
The project involves the renovation of approximately 2200 SF within the 3rd deck of Building 362, located on the NSWDG north compound. The objective is to accommodate user expanded requirements by demolishing offices and interior walls, enlarging existing offices, installing new lighting, Architectural finishes, telecommunication wiring, Electrical/Mechanical upgrades, and Fire Protection/Life Safety.
The renovation will expand inside the existing Controlled Area perimeter.

Work Details
The work includes demolition of offices and interior walls, enlargement of existing offices, installation of new lighting, Architectural finishes, telecommunication wiring, Electrical/Mechanical upgrades, and Fire Protection/Life Safety. The project also involves small project construction progress schedules, construction submittal procedures, NAVFAC Red Zone Meetings (NRZ), electronic construction and facility support contract management system, and government safety requirements for design-build.
