Thermal Analysis Equipment

Background
The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), on behalf of the Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Armament Center, is seeking to procure thermal analysis equipment to support the Advanced Materials Technology Branch's Nanotechnology department.
The goal of this contract is to acquire advanced equipment necessary for characterizing and heat-treating materials, ensuring they meet mission requirements for advanced munitions applications.

Work Details
The contractor shall supply the following items:
- One (1) High-Temperature Simultaneous Thermal Analyzer (HT STA) with specifications including a top-loading micro balance with a maximum sample load of 35 g and a resolution of 0.1 microgram.
- One (1) Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR) capable of coupling directly to the STA for evolved gas analysis.
- One (1) Graphite Furnace with temperature stability requirements and capabilities for TG-DTA measurements.

Options include:
- One (1) additional High-Temperature Simultaneous Thermal Analyzer (HT STA),
- One (1) Tungsten Furnace,
- One (1) Laser Flash Analyzer (up to 2800C),
- One (1) Laser Flash Analyzer (up to 1600C).

The contractor will also provide installation, training, a one-year warranty, and options for four additional years of maintenance and support.

Period of Performance
The period of performance shall be 365 days from the date of award, with options for additional maintenance years.

Place of Performance
The equipment will be delivered and installed at DEVCOM AC, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806.
