Background
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking to procure Tetrate Istio Software Licenses, which provide a licensed Kubernetes Ingress controller and service mesh that is FIPS certified. This acquisition aims to replace the existing Nginx Ingress Controller, which does not support FIPS or provide service mesh capabilities. The requirement is new, with no prior acquisition history under J6.

Work Details
The contract includes the procurement of Tetrate Istio Software Licenses. The software must be FIPS certified and is required to maintain the latest four versions continuously patched for CVE findings.
