The U.S. Embassy of Tegucigalpa, Honduras has a requirement for a contractor to provide Janitorial Services for the New Embassy Compound (NEC) in Tegucigalpa. The contractor shall perform janitorial services including furnishing all labor, supervision, material, equipment, and supplies. The total area for cleaning is approximately 37,664.74 Square Meters.

The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.

The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed-price type contract.

The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.

All contractors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations.

This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements

Background

Work Details
The purpose of this fixed price contract is to obtain janitorial services for real property owned or managed by the U.S. Embassy Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The Contractor shall perform janitorial services in all designated spaces including, but not limited to halls, offices, restrooms, work areas, entrance ways, lobbies, storage areas, elevators, parking lot and stairways.

The contract will be for a one-year period from the date of the contract award, with four one-year options. The Contractor shall furnish all managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel that are necessary to accomplish the work in this contract.

Period of Performance
The performance period of this contract is from the start date in the Notice to Proceed and continuing for 12 months, with four, one-year options to renew.
