Technical, Administrative, and Program Assessment Support (TAPAS) for the IES Research Centers

Background
The Institute of Education Sciences (IES) is the statistics, research, and evaluation arm of the U.S. Department of Education (ED). IES aims to provide national leadership in expanding knowledge and understanding of education from early childhood through postsecondary study. This includes providing reliable information about educational conditions and progress, practices that support learning, and the effectiveness of federal education programs. Established by the Education Sciences Reform Act (ESRA), IES operates through four national education centers and an Office of the Director, focusing on research, evaluation, and dissemination of educational information.

Work Details
The Technical, Administrative, and Program Assessment Support (TAPAS) requirement aims to support IES research centers, specifically NCER and NCSER. Key tasks include:

1. Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data on IES applicants and grantees to improve NCER and NCSER programs;
2. Conducting program reviews and evaluations to assess performance;
3. Preparing presentations and resources for external audiences;
4. Providing technical assistance to grant applicants;
5. Disseminating lessons learned from funded projects through various media;
6. Obtaining feedback from stakeholders to enhance research relevance.

The contractor will also develop a Training Program Hub on the IES website to centralize training program information.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base year from July XX, 2025 through June XX, 2026, with four option years following.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the contractor's location with virtual meetings between the contractor and IES representatives.
