Description

Lodging for TDYers assisting with NOB move.

Background
The Embassy Podgorica is seeking to acquire Temporary Duty (TDY) lodging services for six employees assisting with the move to the New Office Building (NOB). The estimated cost for this acquisition is $10,400. The contract is justified under the authority of 41 USC 3304 (a) (1), allowing for other than full and open competition due to the unique qualifications of the proposed contractor.

Work Details
The contract involves providing lodging for six TDY employees for a total of 80 nights at a hotel. The Hilton Hotel has been identified as the preferred vendor due to its proximity to the Embassy, flexible policies for travelers, and amenities such as an executive lounge.

The TDY employees will require accommodation that allows them to work long hours and access facilities conveniently, especially during the rainy season when transportation may be challenging. Other hotels were not considered viable options as they were either closed during holidays or did not meet the necessary conditions.
