The objective of this service contract is for the Contractor to provide technical services including, but not limited to inspections, assessments, repairs, testing, reports, training for facilities, and operations-related projects. Target services include:

  • Inspecting, updating, testing and repairing electrical LIFE / HEALTH / SAFETY (LHS) hazards and on-going electrical distribution issues for low voltage electrical power systems within the CENTCOM AOR and Combined/Joint Operations Area (CJOA). Low Voltage refers to the definition of Low Voltage System in UFC 3-520-01 appendix D-2: Definition of Terms and generally means any electrically system less than 1000 volts alternating current (VAC) root mean square (RMS).
  • Provide logistical storage, inventory, management, distribution and accountability of Government Property / Contractor Acquired Property (GP/CAP), for all TF SAFE equipment and materials throughout the CENTCOM AOR.
  • Provide the necessary management, supervision, labor, tools, equipment and administrative materials for all services provided, to include safety equipment.

The CENTCOM AOR includes, but is not limited to, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Israel, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Uzbekistan, Yemen, and Afghanistan. All services will be performed at existing and future US Military and/or coalition occupied facilities within the CENTCOM AOR.

Background

Work Details
The work to be completed under the contract includes inspecting, updating, testing and repairing electrical LIFE / HEALTH / SAFETY (LHS) hazards and on-going electrical distribution issues for low voltage electrical power systems within the CENTCOM AOR and Combined/Joint Operations Area (CJOA). It also involves providing logistical storage, inventory management, distribution and accountability of Government Property / Contractor Acquired Property (GP/CAP) for all TF SAFE equipment and materials throughout the CENTCOM AOR. Additionally,
the contractor is required to provide necessary management,
supervision,
labor tools equipment and administrative materials for all services provided.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance (POP) will be a one 12-month base period and one (1) 12 month option period for up to 12 months. Additionally the contract will also provide for the extension of services up to an additional 6 months under certain conditions.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at existing and future US Military and/or coalition occupied facilities within the CENTCOM AOR.
