Background
The solicitation is for a Tanker Time Charter issued by the Military Sealift Command. The charter, when awarded, will consist of the completed Standard Form (SF) 1449, this Preamble, and Parts I through IX. The signature of the on SF 1449 signifies acceptance of the Contractor’s proposal and award of the Charter. The contract will have a base period of one-year with two one-year option periods.
