Stago Compact Max Maintenance

Background
The Naval Medical Research Center San Antonio (NAMRU-SA) intends to award a sole source contract to Diagnostica Stago, Inc. for the purchase of an annual post warranty service agreement for the maintenance of the STA Compact Max® Analyzer. This is not a request for competitive proposals; however, if interested, the government shall consider all responses. The STA Compact Max® Hemostasis Analyzer System is an automated technology that measures clotting, chromogenic, and immunologic coagulation levels in plasma samples. The analyzer located at NAMRU-SA is necessary to conduct hematological analysis of various coagulation tests that include the assessment of prothrombin, thrombin, fibrinogen, d-dimers, intrinsic and extrinsic pathway factors, and protein activity.

Work Details
The requirement is for a contract to provide an annual post warranty service agreements for the maintenance of the STA Compact Max® Analyzer (SN 0000006868/ECN 108497). The annual service agreement includes performing two on-site preventive maintenance inspections per year with parts, labor and travel expenses included. Inspections will be scheduled and performed with customer site as required. Unlimited technical, service, and application telephone assistance will be available via toll free support with on-site response within 24 hours (Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm). Contract excludes wearable parts such as needles, syringes, and peripherals.
The period of performance for this contract is anticipated to be a base period of 12-months followed by four 12-month option periods for a total of 60 months.
