The Wright-Patterson AFB medical center is in need of a Specular Microscope. It is required to measure endothelial cells. Due to the mechanical stress of the surgery or UV exposure, endothelial cells will be lost. This device is used to get an accurate pre/post op measurement of how much effect the procedure had and continues to have on the posterior cornea.
