Description

Purpose: The Air Force Research Laboratory, Space Vehicles Directorate (AFRL/RV), is conducting market research relative to exploring approaches providing the required research, engineering, and technical management for performing space technology concept development, analysis, development, integration, experimentation, demonstrations, and evaluation in support of the AFRL/RV mission, including cradle-to-grave processes and functions for a range of experimental complexity. The information herein only initiates communication with industry to assess market potential. No solicitation documents exist currently. This request for information (RFI) constitutes no Government obligation to procure these services or issue a solicitation. The Government does not have an obligation to pay for information responding to this RFI and will not accept any responses as offers.

Background

This is not a solicitation announcement but a request for information (RFI) to assess market potential. No solicitation documents exist currently. Work Details
The scope of work includes providing the required research, engineering, and technical management for performing space technology concept development, analysis, development, integration, experimentation, demonstrations, and evaluation in support of the AFRL/RV mission. It involves cradle-to-grave processes and functions for a range of experimental complexity. The work encompasses various functional areas such as mission and space system development, flight experiment prototyping, assembly, integration, and testing, flight experiment operations, ground system development, and staffing strategy and required area of expertise.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico.
