Description

The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) has a requirement to establish a contract for Septic Removal and Maintenance Services. Contractor shall provide materials, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary to perform septic pumping maintenance services at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery for 2 septic systems that both have 2 holding tanks and 1 aeration tank each.

Contractor shall perform pumping of holding and aeration tanks. The Contractor shall test the septic tank alarm system on a quarterly basis. Contractor shall be available for emergency responses due to trigging of alarm. The Contractor shall test Backflow Preventers, and change filters annually.

Background
The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) is seeking to establish a contract for septic removal and maintenance services at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery.

The NCA's mission includes maintaining national cemeteries and ensuring they are well-kept for the families of veterans. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of septic systems at the cemetery.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary materials, equipment, labor, and supervision to perform septic pumping maintenance services for two septic systems at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery.

Each system consists of two holding tanks and one aeration tank. Specific tasks include:
1. Pumping of holding and aeration tanks;
2. Quarterly testing of the septic tank alarm system;
3. Availability for emergency responses triggered by the alarm;
4. Annual testing of Backflow Preventers;
5. Changing filters annually.

Period of Performance
The intent is to establish an award for one base year with four additional one-year options, subject to the discretion of the contracting authority.
