The U.S. Coast Guard is considering whether or not to set aside an acquisition for HUBZone Small Business concerns, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns (SDVOSB), 8(a) certified Small Business concerns, Woman-Owned Small Business concerns or Small Business concerns, or solicit Unrestricted. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $45 Million. The estimated value of the procurement is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. A 20% bid bond will be required. Performance and Payment bonds will be required.

The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking interested vendors with relevant past performance, personnel/resources, equipment, and capability to perform major maintenance and repair to the station building and boathouse at USCG Sector Field Office Moriches, located in East Moriches, NY. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, tools materials, transportation, and equipment to complete the work; SEE PROJECT SCOPE ATTACHED.

Demonstrated experience with the following is desired:

a. Geothermal installation of a Geothermal Borefield. Completion of multiple bores to depths more than 350 vertical linear feet below grade, in support of a closed loop ground linked Water Source Heat Pump System, with installation of HDPE pipe joined using heat fusion methods.

b. Water Source Heat Pump (WSHP) experience where HVAC system commissioning has been completed.

c. HAZMAT Remediation experience relative to the removal of:

• Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) including on Gypsum Wall Board (GWB), wood, steam and condensate, and hydronic piping up to 4 in diameter.
• Lead Based Paint (LBP) on gypsum wall board (GWB) and wood.
